This special wine is an exceptional blend of Sangiovere, Cabernet Sauvignon,
and Malbec.
Reminiscent of the rich Sangiovese/Cabernet blends produced in the famed
Tuscany region
of Italy, this distinctive wine is enhanced by the unique raspberry and
strawberry
characteristics of the Sangiovese grape.

In the tradition of super Tuscan blends this wine is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon
deep breadth
and flavor and 15% Sangiovese to lift and brighten it. The inclusion of
Sangiovese, the
ancient red grape of Tuscany led to their use of the word Etrusco, as the
Etruscans were the
first to farm Sangiovese grapes.

chocolate flavors.

This blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Mourvedre was christened Cupa Numismae from
a
gold coin bearing that inscription from the turn of the century. Only 4700
cases were produced..
