~ Ritratti  Pinot  Grigio, 2002 Italy                                            

produced in the sunny hills of Trentino Region.  Fruity, soft and well balanced can be drunk as

 an apertif or during the meal.  We found this wine to have so much more than the usual Pinot Grigio.

 

~ Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc, 2002 New Zealand

 A fresh lively dry wine with complex flavors of tropical fruits, balanced with subtle herbaceous notes.

 This delicious wine offers refreshing overtones of citrus and pear.  This full, delicious wine is great

with chicken or fish dishes.

 

~  Catena Chardonnay 2002, Mendoza, Argentina

 Purity and balance define this award wining wine.  Ripe with flavors of fig and pear backed up by

toast notes that are harmonious through the finish.  Juicy texture keeps it all together.  Nice oak flavor.

Rated 90 in wine spectator and considered a “smart buy”.  Enjoy.

 

~ Champalou Vouvray La Cuvee de Fondreaux  2001 Loire, France

Lovely almond, quince, and fig flavors mingle in this bright, medium bodied white, with a lingering

 note of honey.  Just off-dry and quite tasty.  Wine spectator gives this perfect summer wine an 89 rating.

 

~ Caymus Conundrum, 2002, Rutherford, CA

Stepping aside from tradition, this fantastic wine combines a medley of varietals frown in CA.

 Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Viognier, and Muscat are blended together to produce

 this wine rich in floral and tropical flavors.  This wine has a reputation of exceptional quality and flavor.

a delicious, tropical fruit Sauvignon.  The full, ripe, fruit aromas carry onto the palate and conclude

with a long-lasting finish.  Great with salads, shellfish, and firm cheeses.  Easy to drink and refreshing.
